The Spice Girls Wannabe Mp3 Download - Keep It Legal Part 2

The pre-teen and teen girl set liked the song for its in your face attitude toward guys, while older pop fans liked the video for its humorous side. And the guys liked Wannabe for all the usual reasons why guys like drop-dead gorgeous girls in motion.

On top of all its other attractions, Wannabe is a song perfect if you like to sing along, as the popularity of the Spice Girls Wannabe Mp3 proves.

When the Spice Girls embark on their Return of the Spice Girls Tour in November of 2007, and release their Greatest Hits album in their for the holidays, the Spice Girls Wannabe Mp3 is sure to find a brand new base of fans.

iPods and iSings were not available in 1996, but there are millions of them available now, and the free P2P files once available courtesy of Napster and other sites are no more. While you may still be tempted to share a downloaded Mp3 file, you do so at your own risk, and it’s a significant one.

In early October of 2007, a US jury found a Minneapolis woman guilty of downloading and sharing 1700 P2P music files from Kazaa, and fined her $220,000 USD. The record companies suing her concentrated on only 24 of the songs when they presented their case, so she is now required to pay $9166.66 for each song which would have cost her $0.99 if downloaded legally.

The Spice Girls Wannabe Mp3 would be a great addition to any collection of pop downloads, so it’s certainly worth downloading legally!

The Spice Girls’ debut single Wannabe made it the top of the British

pop charts in the summer of 1996 not only on the talents of the Spice

Girls themselves but as a result of a marketing campaign designed to

give each of the girls a manufactured image.

So Geri Halliwell first became Sexy Spice, and then Ginger Spice,

Victoria Adams was Posh Spice, Melanie Brown was Scary Spice, Emma

Bunton was Baby Spice, and Melanie Chisholm was Sporty Spice.

Wannabe was the result of collaboration between the Spice Girls and

Elliot Kennedy, and when it entered the British charts at number one,

the Spice Girls became, in the eyes of the tabloid media, public

property.

Wannabe is considered the dance-pop breakthrough recording of the

1990’s, and thanks to the Spice Girls, other unknown pop groups and

solo artists like Britney Spears and the Back Street Boys were

marketed to instant success.

Wannabe was a breakthrough in other ways as well. The recording and

music video were a great influence in establishing the female

presence among the Men Behaving Badly British lad culture of the

1990s.

Napster, now defunct, was a free program which let its registered users access and download the Spice Girls MP3 music tracks, and share them as free peer-to-peer files. Once the word was out, Napster received record traffic.

The Forever album was the Spice Girl’s first in three years, and its release was intended to take advantage of holiday sales.

But having all the tracks from the album available for free on Napster as Spice Girls MP3 music files a month before Christmas certainly damaged the legitimate sales for the album, which sold nowhere near as many copies as their first two albums, Spice and Spiceworld.

Napster was believed to have more than 20,000,000 million users at the time, so the actual damage it caused to the album’s sales is hard to underestimate.

Virgin Records, as a member of the Recoding Industry Association of America, eventually sued Napster for copyright infringement on behalf of the Spice Girls and its other recording artists.

Although Napster lost the suit and is now history, the peer-to-peer MP3 file sharing tradition it began has been continued under P2P protocols like FastTrack. But they are also facing legal challenges, and the record companies are as interested in prosecuting the individuals who are downloading MP3 files illegally as they are in going after the websites which permit it.

Whether you’re a hard-core Spice Girls fan or someone who is just starting to learn about the Spice Girls phenomenon and will see them for the first time on their Return of the Spice Girls Tour, you should forget about trying to find free downloads of Spice Girls MP3 music. Stick to getting it from legitimate online music stores.

It’s better for you, because you won’t get sued, and it’s certainly better for the Spice Girls!

Spice Girls MP3 Music Downloads - Part1

They were highly visible for five years. Then they were largely invisible for five years. And now, like that of a comet in an irregular orbit, their trajectory is slowly becoming visible again, and will be in full view starting in Vancouver, BC, on December 2, 2007. They are, of course, the Spice Girls, and their Return of the Spice Girls comeback tour is the hottest ticket in many a year.

The tour will cover six continents in six weeks, and is timed to begin shortly after the November release of their fourth album, Greatest Hits. The Greatest Hits album/ Greatest Hits tour combo is sure to cause a rush to download Spice Girls MP3 music among a younger generation of fans who missed the first Spice Girls era.

The Spice Girls may have only been out of action since 2001, but a single year in the world of pop music is about as long as the memory of many pop fans.

The Spice Girls and their first hit single Wannabe, which eventually became the biggest selling debut single of all time, arrived on the British pop charts in 1996, just in time to enjoy the full benefits of the MP3 revolution.

But unfortunately for the Spice Girls themselves, most of the Spice girls MP3 music benefits accrued to their fans, who were taking full advantage of then-unregulated MP3 downloads from online services like Napster.

In 2000, the Spice Girl’s record label, Virgin Records, mistakenly uploaded all eleven tracks from their new album Forever to a RealNetworks server, instead of the four they were supposed to release. Spice Girls fans wasted no time in converting the tracks to MP3 files and offering them on Napster.
